Research and development

Aequos focuses on the development of innovative prosthesis designs and bringing them to the market. The Aequos team collaborates closely with partner research groups at the Universities of Göttingen, Jena , Greifswald and Bayreuth . Research projects in the fields of anatomy, biomechanics, materials science and surgical technology are being jointly conducted. In addition to advancing the design of the Aequos knee endoprosthesis, several other artificial joints covering a range of human joint families are in the product pipeline.
